Have a look!

I've got a new website for kids: http://www.dole5aday.com/Kids/K_Index.jsp.
I want to ask Fika and Fida to have a look this website. Are they interested in?
I do not know.

How do I know this website?

I searched via www.google,com using the key word: 'missing addend'.

Then I chose http://illuminations.nctm.org/LessonDetail.aspx?ID=L65.

Through this website, I can see several useful links, written as follow:
KidsHealth: The Food Guide Pyramid
The Food Guide Pyramid 1
The Food Guide Pyramid 2
Dole 5 A Day Kids Home
Student Sheet

You see, How easy it is!

Websites about Pattern

Since last week Fika has learnt about Pattern using manipulatives to show grown pattern.
Several websites that I have got for Pattern as follow:
1. http://www.linkslearning.org/Kids/1_Math/2_Illustrated_Lessons/5_Patterns/index.html

2. http://www.mathcats.com/explore/polygonplayground.html
(This might be good for kids
- to make their own pattern
- to work in pairs, asking each other to continue the pattern
- continue the patterns that have been made by the teachers with different level (easy, medium, hard)
- or to identify the core of patterns that have been made

3. http://www.amblesideprimary.com/ambleweb/mentalmaths/countersquare.html

and http://www.primarygames.co.uk/pg2/splat/splatsq99.html

(ideas to make patterns of number 1 - 100. This can be for pair works)

4. http://nlvm.usu.edu/en/nav/frames_asid_163_g_1_t_3.html?open=activities
http://nlvm.usu.edu/en/nav/frames_asid_169_g_1_t_3.html?open=activities
http://www.springfield.k12.il.us/schools/Butler/curry/pattern.html

(Kids can make their own pattern using these websites)
